Hot on the heels of winning a Blade in the Consumer Goods/ FMCG Design category, the Nintendo 3DS Launch campaign has now won a Gold at the EVENT Awards. Along with our Highly Commended awards for Marks and Spencer Plan A and Brand Experience Agency of the Year, the Gold rounded off a great night for BD Network.
The Nintendo 3DS consumer launch campaign saw the integrated use of online comms, Facebook, Nintendo's brand site and ATL to create a seamless consumer journey, driving people to experiential events around the country. With trial at the heart of the campaign, consumer reactions were recorded and fed back into the digital campaign to encourage more people to experience the Nintendo 3DS for themselves. And to ensure their positive experience continued when they went in store, events across the country turned specialist retailer staff into real advocates of the new console.
