BD Network were given the brief to develop a retail hub that connected with a typical online grocery shopper – ‘Mum’. A specific requirement in the brief was to develop custom CMS architecture that would allow Nintendo to quickly deploy the solution to multiple partners within a short time frame and with smallest maintenance overhead.
We developed a content-heavy website template that helped non-gamers identify and understand Nintendo’s product offering in order to improve their purchase habits. Behind the scenes, we’ve delivered a custom CMS solution that uses scraping technology to ascertain product availability, pricing and stock control on the host site thereby removing the need for constant upkeep.
We’ve delivered a more immersive Nintendo product experience within several of the UK’s top online retailers resulting in a higher ‘add to basket’ rate than previously experienced. By partnering in this way, not only can we assist our online retail partners by delivering much needed content, we are also able to extend retail functionality and insight to Nintendo.
