Discover your South Africa

A campaign that demystified the pre-conceptions of South Africa as a once in a life-time destination.

WHAT WE DID

South Africa has buckets of appeal, but it’s also often seen as a ‘bucket list’ destination. People are put off by the complicated planning and there’s a perception that prices are sky high.

With more and more travellers seeking unique and ‘off the beaten track’ travel experiences, we were tasked with showing off South Africa’s less clichéd attractions, engaging customers and trade and driving bookings. 

Our team of 10 authentic South Africans demonstrated their passion and expertise about the country, the various cultures and enabled guests to fully immerse in 5 aspects of this amazing country developing with the aid of EEG headbands capturing guests brainwaves to develop a truly personalised itinerary.

The experience toured five major cities in the UK, targeting areas with a demographic that matched our target audience of silver surfers and younger millennial travellers. 

RESULTS

• Live Septemebr to October

• 3,320 visitors

• 15 live days in 5 locations (Friday - Saturday)

• 2010 unique and cleaned leads captured leading to bookings
